The members of The Trilogy are three
classical musicians who have been
performing individually since childhood. Kit,
Richard and Josh have known one another
and worked in a variety of musical projects
since the 1980's. Although each member
has been involved in a variety of musical
styles, their common bond is a strong
devotion to the excitement and passion
found in the music of the 1970's progressive
movement. Arguably the dominant group of
that period, Emerson, Lake and Palmer was
the favorite of all three, both for their
musical arrangements of classical themes
and their unparalleled theatrics.
The Trilogy is a celebration of that
movement in popular music when virtuosity
and over-the-top presentation was not yet a
sin.
